happy new year - and especially a blessed birthday to my dearest mother!

happy new year 2009 !!!

1st of January - besides being the new year, it is also my mother's birthday. and mummy is 51 years old this year!

my mother means much to many people - wife, mother to 3 lovely girls, trusted friend to many, role model, teacher......and many more.

my mother had taught me (and still do) with her actions to be an optimist, and to live in the law of love. in church once pastor preached about living in the law of love. and i know exactly one person who live in the law of love - my own mother. because my mother went through many things which she could have reacted in a bitter way, like many would, but she did not. because she understood loving means forgiving and forgetting. so one of my new year resolutions - to be more like mummy!

alright mummy, i sent you a lovely card which will arrive via Darren in maybe a week. and all the goodies too! love and hugs!!!

now about new year celebration - it was great. we had a dinner party in 4th floor and i made mushroom soup which turned out pretty well! i even amazed myself - thanks to David for the recipe. anyway this year Jonas and i made a list of our new year resolution and also things we think the other partner can improve on. i made quite a long list for him, expecting a long list in return. but on his paper he wrote - i love and accept you for who you are (but try to control your temper from time to time). so sweet! i usually don't say it out loud - especially in my blog : but i love my black and hairy Jonas!
