while i was in the bus...

in the middle of the bussiest week i have since i started this sem, it is ironic i can even blog. having 3 extra practicals this week where i reach home about 9 at night, - makes me wonder sometimes wud am i getting myself into?


i officially finished my surgery extra practicals!!! i'll skip the ultrasound, X ray, angiogram, PE part because today something caught my attention. A 20 year old girl came to the outpatient department due to some abdominal pain. Alright, shame on me that i wasnt really paying attention to her complaints and ultrasound and lab results. I saw her, Miss 20-something who was with a much older partner, maybe about 10-15 years older. And a lovely ring in her left middle finger, pearl earrings and a classy handbag - dating an older guy is sure something!! Skipping the material part, there was also the part where she said 'they are gonna take my blood, im scared!' and he was like 'hush darling, it is gonna be ok'. how secure and protected she must have felt. makes me have this little debate up in my head - which is better, dating a much older man or the guy about your age?

brainstorming (while in bus no 2 on my way back)....

PROS AND CONS OF;

1) dating an older guy
- he is working - so he can buy you the classy handbag and jewelleries and bring you to classy restaurant.
- he is the older guy - you feel secure, protected, safe....it's just nice to feel that way
- he is in control of the situation - like he always have the solution to almost everything
- it's kinda cool - ur dating a kiddo, im dating a real man thing
- he is committed - older guys are not playing around anymore, they are committed and feels obligated to the relationship. they are not the 'i cant predict the future people'.
- he might be kinda boring - yeah gotta work and all, mind loaded with how to earn more money.

2) dating that guy about your age
- we can more things together, that older guy needs to work eh?
- u can get in control - some Queen control might not wanna get away from the throne
- they don't want to feel obligated - Mr i-still-have-my-life-and-my-family, that can be a heartache at times.

on and on....
