today is Christmas is Russia! yup, they follow their old calendar which is 2 weeks slower than our calendar so they celebrate Christmas today and new year next week - 14 Jan!
when i was in 1st year, i find this real odd. but now, im enjoying the double celebration and double holidays!!
yesterday our carolling group went to church to sing Silent Night in Russian and English, Hark The Herald Angels Sing and The First Noel. Despite the extreme coldness of -18C, we still have the Christmas mood!
so anyway, it is 3 days before my microbiology exam and i cant wait for it to be over!!
